New Computer Bliss

Well having decided laptops are of the Devil and not to be trusted I am happily back in PC land with a working computer and internet. To cut a long story short my laptop died, so while it was getting fixed I borrowed an old laptop of Ozzyols, which then went all hinky some months later. Anyway I now have a beautiful (and speedy) new computer and

Yay for new stuff!

Similar thing happened to me when Sassy picked up a KitchenAid mixer for me a couple of years ago. I had a green and white kitchen and told her to get me a white mixer.

When she got home with it, we opened it up and discovered that the mixer was actually red, not white like the photo indicated.

I kept it, though, and ended up changing my kitchen color scheme to green, white and red. Which I love ever so much!

I've seen photos of your red kitchen stuff and it is awesome! I'm not sure if I'll continue with pink computer room/library accessories though (although I do have a hot pink bookcase which I painted myself a few years back...) We'll see!

In other news I am enjoying my new job a lot more than my old one and working in town is awesome! I'm going to be very sad if I ever have to go back to divey Northbridge (which, for anyone who has not had the joy of a visit consists primarily of restaurants, nightclubs, strip clubs, and sex shops).

You know, I'm reading this, and I'm still just not seeing the problem with Northbridge.
