Still alive in sunny Exmouth

Having a fab time in Exmouth, although it is a mite warm Spent quite a bit of time chilling in the aircon watching dvd's and foxtel which was been awesome given the craziness of the last few months. Also had a snake freak-out today - moved the bin to discover a snake happily snoozing underneath

I have no problem with Chon killing rattlers when they show up 'round the house here. They're too dangerous to let live.

And then there are people like my former in-laws who are all crunchy granola bout wild things and don't kill them -- they just "relocate" them farther away from the house. And then they'll tell me, "We've had four rattlesnakes show up in the past two months, and one of them bit one of the dogs in the face!" They managed to save the poor pup, thank God, but I'm all, "Um, that's the SAME DAMN SNAKE that just keeps coming back!"

Ah yeah, I think that's definitely a case where it's okay to permanently relocate them. i'm all for nature provided it stays out of my backyard and is unlikely to kill my pets.
