No fezzes, no sonics in this household. I wore gridlore's vintage Spirit of Light TARDIS key necklace and my "You never forget your first Doctor" t-shirt (though I was tempted to pin a doric column over the TARDIS on the shirt and write "MASTER" over "Doctor").
The episode was good, made that much better by the company; the behind-the-scenes bit afterward was a lot of fun; and oh my god yes Tom. I cried.
Oh, I had the opportunity. I chose not to take it.
Instead I watched it free-to-air on the teevee at home with a bagel, a cup of tea, good company, and I could hear every word of dialogue without interruption from squeeing fankids and flashing lights.
The only reason I was even wearing pants was that we had a houseguest.
My group was the most poorly behaved theater crowd I've ever seen. They were squealing at the screen every time someone showed up, or made a joke or reference. I lost a lot of dialogue because of it.
