On my own Livejournal page, I just posted the results of my own appointment. My results were somewhat the opposite of yours. Last appointment, I went from Type II diabetic to pre-diabetic. This appointment, I have been declared (try not to laugh) Normal.

Lost 53 pounds in six months (sorta Atkins dieting). Got my BMI down to 39. My weight would be great if I was 6'11-1/2" tall (I'm 5'7").

A lot of my meds got cut.

Good luck!

Bummer, still it's better than the alternative, if you have to pick a place to inject, do the stomach, when I was in hospital for so long they were giving me daily heparin jabs in my tummy, didn't feel a thing and the good thing about that, is there a lots of places on a tummy to inject, so one site doesn't get overused.

Yeah, I do the stomach as well. And given that I've got a *lot* of stomach, I can go a couple of weeks before getting too close to re-using a spot.

I pretty much do it in three "bands" across it. upper middle and lower, with lower staying about an inch and a half above the navel. The upper gets a lot closer to the ribs, but not that close.

And I try for at least an inch apart between sites in a band.

All I really need to remember is where I injected last and which direction I've been moving in the band.
