Stephen remarked the other night that Ellen DeGeneres, who's been chosen to host the next Oscars, "will at least look better in a tux than last year's host." (Cue screenshot of Jon on the screen.)
As you may recall, Ellen in the Sailor Jon pantheon is Princess Kakyuu, the one whom the Sailor Starlights are sworn to protect.
(The Starlights are refugees from the Sailor Wars who end up on Earth, where they search for their lost princess by posing as a hot boy band. Depending on whether you listen to the anime or manga, they either crossdress or actually switch genders - thus why Eddie Izzard is one of them. Action transvestite!)
At the very end of the anime, when all the bad guys are defeated and the good guys reunited, the Starlights and their Princess say goodbye and depart. They're on a rooftop and it's sunset, so it looks quite dramatic.
