One question has really been on my mind

What do you think about love and money? I'm not asking you to pick one or the other, but to define your view on the order / order of importance of them. Do you think you should have one before the other or take them as they come? Do you favor one or the other? An example would be, that you would make sure ( Read more... )

Molly, I have a feeling that you had to write this journal because of me. Sorry if I mislead you in anyway. Let me take this time to explain to you what I think more clearly. I think that you should be with the person that you love, and if you know that you are going to spend the rest of your life with this person, then they will be willing to wait for you. They will be willing to wait for you while you get your life in order. I am not trying to pit money against love...I am all for both. I just have a bad feeling about starting a life with someone before I start my life...I do not know if you know what I am saying there. My mom and dad got married before my mom went to school; she has spent her entire life in and out of bad jobs that hardly support her family. Im the future, I just want to be able to give my family the things that they need...I want to be able to provide for them, and believe it or not, that takes money. I guess what I am saying is, if you have what you know to be that "once in a lifetime love, that true ( ... )

Well, maybe this entry was influenced a little bit ya
It was really late (insomniacs, woohoo!) and I was just like.. "Am I doing the wrong thing, changing my life all around like this... but I can't help it" kinda thing.
I was just wondering other peoples opinions
When I see other people in the same situation, everything looks so much clearer than when I'm the one in it.
Aww, It's not that I thought that you would pick money over love- I just understood completely where your coming from :D
Why have just love, when you can have love, money, respect, and a nice place to live in.
You're such a strong hard worker
I love ya Jenny!!

I think if you're with someone and you both truly love and understand each other, and want to be with each other for the rest of your lives, then you don't have to wait until you're "financially stable"....i think if you truly love each other you'd get through any problems that may arise, including money problems. Money=material things as well, and that's not as important as just having people in your life. Money cannot equate to happiness. I'd rather have my love and no money than all the money in the world and nobody to love.

Aww, that's so sweet. Love sure is a wonderful thing.
Bleh, imagine accomplishing all your dreams and having no one to share them with.
I know I really don't enjoy being alone. That used to happen to me alot when I was little abd I would always end up thinking way too much about things.

No way, it made perfect sense
Thank you so much for posting.
That made me feel so good inside to hear :D
It almost brought tears to my eyes :') "being with eachother and knowing that this is the person you will
be with forever should be good enough"
It has everything to do with what I'm talking about too
I mean, I feel the same way.
Love with no money aww.. I can just imagine two people snuggling under a blanket on the street

There really are too many dreamers, or maybe I am too realistic...

why does it make me a dreamer or unrealistic because i don't care about money? i realize that you NEED money but all my point was was that if you're in love, you shouldn't wait because of something like that. nobody said you had to go big. nobody said you had to spend a million dollars on a wedding, live in a mansion, and have 10 cars. i'd be perfectly content getting married at the courthouse or something, living in a little trailor or one room apartment and getting a job close enough to walk or ride a bike. that's all my point was. not everybody cares about money.

money is an object
love is infinite
I wont say that this make it obvious but rather think about that for yourself
