i find it very frustrating that pretty much the first question that anyone asks me since i got home from guelph is "and what are you doing now?" i hate having to say that i am still looking for work. i feel like such a failure every time someone asks me...and i feel as if i have let eveyone down somehow. i mean sure i could be working right now... i feel the same way - after having a string of good luck with the acting work, i've had nothing going on for months and i feel awful every time someone asks what i'm working on and i have to say "nothing"

oh well. such is the life of a twenty-something, i guess

Yeah, no reason to feel like a failure (sure, I know saying that is cerebral and not emotional); the failure is in Cape Breton, not the potential employee. I'm sure if it was me with my MSc looking for work, I'd be screwed. I don't hold much hope of sticking around and working in my field of expertise once I'm done. Failure Cape Breton.

You'll find something sooner or later... hopefully sooner (though you're a convenient and good babysitter in the meantime :) )
