Name: Lanie
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Horoscope:Leo/Horse
Does your sign fit your personality? I do like lions and horses, they're among my favorite animals. I think I'm a lame Leo/Horse though. I don't embody the characteristics that...involve confidence. 8| I can probably associate with the Horse more, but it makes me sad that when people draw/personify Leo, it's always someone who has this confident look on their face (like they "got it all") annnnd I can't relate to that. And one of the most common careers suggested with Leos are acting/entertainment. I can't act or sing or dance. :D; Mostly because I KNOW I'm not good at it and I don't have that sort of dramatic personality that fits the stage/screen. But I love watching performances!!
Likes: Musicals, cooking, baking, animals, flowers, nature, hanging out with friends, reading, videogames, shopping, Marvel comics, cute things, stand up comedy, honesty, nice people, sight seeing, history, I'm not athletic and I don't like running, but I do like long walks and using gym equipment, roller coasters, theme parks
Dislikes: Attention whores, douche bags, pretentious people, liars, being left out, general mean people, bad intentions, people who hurt animals or take ill of them, girls who do something hurtful (physical or verbal) and then blame it on their PMS 8|, being put down, people PUTTING others down, stereotypes, bullies, stubborn people who just won't stop arguing
Describe your strengths: I'm friendly, open minded, trusting, I like making people smile), and I recover pretty quickly. I'm pretty well-adjusted and have a lot of self-control. I can endure things so I don't mind long walks or long hiking trips.
Describe your weaknesses: I got low self-esteem, I'm bad at math, and I tend to stay up late, I also CANNOT SWIM. I sink like a rock.
Five words to describe you: Nice, understanding (I try to be), unique, outgoing, chill

Color: GREEN! I LOVE green!
Band: I grew up with Guns n' Roses but I'm not very musically inclined sometimes. My favorite musicals are The Producers, Beauty and the Beast, and Rent. :D
Book: The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, the Nightrunner series by Lynn Flewelling (if you like fantasy, read it!), the Drizzt series, and the LOTR trilogy
Food: I like many kinds of foods. The things I DON'T eat much (or at all) tend to be sweets. I'm never tempted by them. I don't like pineapples or coconuts or donuts. D: But I love seafood and banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) and chicken.
Animal: Lions and tigers and bears, hell yeah! I also love dogs and such canines. They're all so cute!
Holiday: Christmas. I like the idea of giving presents to the ones you love. Plus, I love the colors for the holiday.
Drink: Water or if I have to pick an actual drink, coke.

Introverted or extroverted? Extroverted if I'm comfortable around the people I know and who know me, but I tend to stay introverted if I feel intimidated.
Hugs or handshakes? Uh...as long as neither are forced, I guess. But of the two, hugs.
Confident or shy? I'm not confident but I'm not -that- shy.
Mature or playful? I think that just depends on who I'm with, but I'm usually mature.
Impulsive or cautious? Cautious. I'm only impulsive if I really, really don't give a crap.
Video games or read a book? I haven't played games in a while...and believe me, I'm a big gamer. BUT I read a lot too, and I love reading. Hell, I can do both at once!

It's Halloween and your school is throwing an awesome party there at night. You're completely stoked, are meeting your friends there, and already have your costume picked out. On your way there, you run into a scary Youma, attempting to ruin your plans. What is your strategy?

Am I just being me or am I being a Sailor Senshi here? As a Sailor Senshi, I'll beat it down to nothing. If I'm just being me, I'll run it over with my car and be on my merry way~ It'd be neat if we could do whatever our costumes are, because that would mean I could just smash that thing up with metal (I was Polaris, who has the power of magnetism).

You're at school and a handsome boy walks past you and smiles. Then next day he's in one of your classes and he's having trouble concentrating, glancing at you every other moment. The bell rings and he starts walking towards you. How do you react?

Handsome boys tend to be douche bags. I hope he's not one of them. But either way, I'll just do a little wave and prepare for whatever awkward moment that could arise. Just smile and nod~

A new ride opened at a nearby amusement park. You want to go, but start hearing rumors that the ride is terrifying and some people are still having jitters three days after their experience. What do you decide to do?

I LOVE roller coasters! I GET NO JITTERS. LET'S GOOOOOO.

You're heading to your destination when you see a shy girl being bullied by three older girls. They push her and she looks like she's about to break down in tears. What is your reaction to this?

I'd go over there and stop them, of course. In the rare instances where I actually DO appear confident, I might act a little insane- which tends to scare the crap out of other people (makes me sad, but it works in a situation like this one) I really don't wanna resort to violence but the thought of giving those girls a few punches to their jaws and eyes gets my blood pumping. 8D But as long as they GTFO and the other girl's okay...

You've just met your idol/role-model/favorite celebrity, and magically are able to spend a whole day with them. Who are they and what do you guys plan to do?

I actually had a couple of dreams where I go on epic journeys with celebrities (and fictional characters). Most of them involve fighting zombies, but they're not scary or anything (it turned into a musical once). I had one dream where I went on a "date" with John Barrowman, we went to the amusement park and went on all the rides. 8D He drove me home and offered to sing me a song to sleep or something. I can't remember the rest, but I don't really fangirl over that dream knowing that John Barrowman already happily has a partner. :D

Seriously though, one of the guys I do respect is Steve Irwin. He was such a lovable guy. ;_; His death actually made me cry, the only other celebrity death that made me sad was Mr. Rogers. If I could spend a day with Steve Irwin, I'd like to travel with him and experience the things he experienced! Going through rivers and jungles, I don't mind touching big scary crocs (as long as they don't mind me!) so it could've been fun.

If you could change one thing about the world what would that be?

That's a tough one. But I don't think I can make such a choice. The world is constantly in change, whether it could take days or years, it's a gradual process that shouldn't be forced against. /Taoism

What are your goals and aspirations for the future?

Move out of the house, learn how to make the stuff my mom cooks, get my own pet dog, graduate college~ Typical goals like that. I'm majoring in Psychology and that could take me...to a limited place~ Ahaha. I'm not really a business person, but I wouldn't mind working in a flower shop or a bakery. I like the atmosphere of both.

What is your general clothing style?

I like wearing green and brown together, or green and white/pink. But I also wear other colors such as red and blue. I'm not very good with fashion terms, but I like those low-cut tops. My clothing style is pretty practical though. I don't wear make up, only chap stick.

This is your chance to show what you like in video form. Go on YouTube and find one of your favorite videos. Post the link here and describe why you like it. If it's a song, you may post the lyrics, too.

That was quite difficult. I love musicals and comedies, so I picked a clip I faved that has both! This clip is from the TV show Scrubs. The two men hugging each other, Turk and J.D. are best friends who have this epic bromance. The song is called Guy Love from the episode called My Musical, where a patient in the hospital constantly hears people singing and dancing instead of just talking.
