But, see, I consider myself an intelligent person. I'm usually 100% capable of walking into a store, already knowing just what I want, and am able to locate it on the shelf. I am able to pick it up, physically carry it over to the registers, and handing the cashier my money. I find that Best Buy has seperate employees for cashiers and for floor-salespeople.

There's probably less work for THEM to have me come into the store and have a cashier ring it up, than for them to have someone who gets the order from the computer, locates the item in the warehouse, prints off a invoice, place it into a box, bubblewrap, print out delivery labels and afix to the box, seal up the box, then have to schedule a pickup time for the delivery service. Plus I live in an apartment where i have a dinky-tiny mailbox that would not accomadate a box. I'd have to go to the post office with my receipt from the mailman's first attempt at delivering it, stand in line to get to the counter, and wait for the clerk to locate it in the back.
