...of teh Heavy, Determined Editing.
And while strange sounds (of what I think... what I hope, anyway, are coming from the train tracks a few houses down...) ring at me from the window, I reacquaint myself with dozens of pages of plot summary, and mark a few places on the 36 or so finished pages that need a bit of plot hole fixing.

Aaaaahhhhh I wish I could upload my photos from the Highlands because you can't even FATHOM the scenery I saw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One day, AOKP is all going to go camping in Glencoe--because there's a path from Glasgow down to... Fort William I think it is, and you can camp all over that place, and the walk takes about a week, and we would have ( Read more... ) -

Huh... this is so weird..... The Federal Student Aid people contacted me via e-mail to remind me to fill out a FAFSA form for this next school year, and I thought, oh yeah! And then I thought... wait... I'm not going to be a student next year. That's so.... odd.

Ireland, Day 5
...I don't think there are sufficient words for the things I saw yesterday.
Today, however, was more manigable-- we went to Trinity College to see the Book of Kells and a few other mediaval manuscripts they had on display. It was all very pretty, and I was happy to see that the Book of Kells itself, which dates from around 800 AD, incorporates a lot ( Read more... ) -

Today I got to go on a tour of the coast north of Dublin, and see Malahide Castle. It has a really nice 17th and 18th century interior--and was surprisingly small! Very enjoyable--and our bus driver was most amusing. "You're all very welcome on me bus ( Read more... ) -
Ireland, Day 3
Today was a wonderful day of sleeping in (I think I'm actually getting over my jetlag, because for the first few days I woke up every few hours or so and couldn't sleep past 7am) and then going out to the countryside for a lovely jaunt over to Glendalough--taken from the Irish for "The Glen of the Two Lakes ( Read more... ) -
