I originally had the end part slightly different, and just as a drabble, but it left too many questions unanswered, so I decided to write a longer one-shot and add it into the end. I was worried that it would seem tacked on (it kind of was xD), but I'm glad it turned out alright!

This was the first fic I really went into with the express purpose of making it all sad and whatnot, just to see if I could. So I'm kind of glad I succeeded, but like I said, I FEEL BAD! But I'm really glad you still read it and liked it regardless of my horrible-make-you-sad-ness. xD

And I don't actually know where the little blanket came from, but I was just writing and it kind of appeared and I went 'she would SO give him a mini-blanket'. I'm glad I'm not alone in that thought. xDDD And thanks, I'm glad it's In Character. I was a bit worried, what with him being all 'I'm going to die, and I'm sick, and as mentally unstable as ever', and the KIND of 'I love you moment'... sometimes those can be OOC entirely... andyeah. I appreciate your comment. ^^

And... er... yeah, I guess firing squad was a kind of honourable way of dying. So... it probably would have been the hangman's noose, seeing as it wasn't a military crime. Oops. Next time I'll watch out for that. Thanks!
