Ok, so I am SOOOO excited about Google.org!

I feel like it combined the passion, energy, and dedication that many NGOs have, but tries to fiscally eliminate improper payments, beuracracies, and inefficient resource allocation. YAAAYY!!

My dad and I got into a HUGE fight this morning. It started off with me explaining some of the cool things I was doing in my grad class and him making snide remarks, challenging the correctness of what I was saying, or commenting on what a simple concept it was. Tonight is the last day of Paryushun, the Jain equivalent of Lent. As the week-long period of fasting ends, one of my favorite days begins: Samat-sari, the day when Jains call up pretty much everyone we know and ask for forgiveness. As I get ready to leave tonight, I realize that there are certain people that I am never ready to say goodbye to.
