It's so odd to see this post just now, as over on tumblr someone posted about how John Frusciante's album "The Empyrean" blew the doors off their mind so much they loved just lying in a dark room listening to it and having their heart overflow with it. At which point many people came out of the woodwork and said YES. This.

I had to stop listening to music on the bus on the way to work. I'd forget to get off at my stop.
