haha I'd never considered the socialist / communist angle but you're right.

Heck, the Confederacy was close to going socialist during the war as it was. They owned all means of production with the exception, I believe, of textiles.

oh wait I mean the confederacy was a bold, tragic hero of small government and states' rights yeah. >_>
