Whoa... Live Journal is still here! In this crazy modern world of chewing things up and spitting them back out so we can use them as compost for the next mad idea; it surprises me that an internet fad has lasted more than 90 minutes. In the time since I started writing this eleven social networking sites have formed and folded.

Friendface, or whatever the fuck the latest social networking plague is called, simply doesn't cut it. They're aimed at too common a crowd. It's nice to be on there and see updates from family and pictures of relatives that live far away, but I secretly want to write pointless shit again and have people laugh or go "I disagree, and here's why!".

Was the world different then, or was I different then? When I first started this I had no real direction in my life. Now I'm a big shot, running a big show, but still I dream of reaching back to the sort of mental anarchy that kept me sane five or more years ago.

I think I'm too old to whine now, but not old enough to whittle away my days hearkening back to times gone by.

What a pickle!
