I fail it

Apr 30, 2007 09:54

Just got my first PT test failure since my first ever PT test in Basic. Missed the sit-ups by 1 sit-up, and failed the run by 9 seconds. Passed push-ups though. I got thems down.

Edit: Turns out it was just 2 seconds. If I had stuck my arms out and leaned forward I would've passed.

Nah, it's because the army is stupid, and likes to put young, impressionable soldiers in the office for their first tour so they can stagnate and inflate in the operations center eating cookies all day. Retest is on the 10th.

I should be thanking you for the hamster, I got it off your picture cut. Though I wasn't sure if it was a hamster, chincilla, or some other furry critter.

I've had Hooah bars. They have them in the dining facility. They look nothing like those in the link. As for taste, they're really mediocre.

As for the restrictions, that's a big-ass document. 79 pages just to say "Don't give out classified information on the internet". But good luck trying to enforce it. Only a couple guys in my chain of command actually know what a blog is. I hadn't heard anything about this until you and Tsunami linked me these articles. Maybe it's 'cause I was on R&R when it happened. Anyway, I'm not worried. I don't divulge sensitive information. In fact, there was something funny I wanted to share a couple days ago, but I couldn't because it was about one of our classified systems, so I didn't. Easy as that.

As for the "Pizza connection" argument, such a link between seemingly innocuous information and any conclusions that can be drawn from said information is tenuous at best, and could be easily broken by just a little thought, and a campaign of misinformation so simple as to be nearly ( ... )

Oh noes, I told them we've got Hooah bars in the dining facility! Now they can use that information to manufacture a crate of poisoned Hooah bar facsimiles and poison all our troops!
