Last night I awoke laughing from a funny dream. I can not now remember what the dream was about. Later I had a dream about my ever-shrinking inheritance and that was not funny in the least.

I spent the entire day working on a script for a ten minute presentation but after several drafts I have nothing that works. I feel so busted and disgusted that I might as well just go in tomorrow and let fly whatever emerges from my subconscious mind. It might work. Or I might be out-of-work. -
Out with the old
On Thursday I went by my former digs. The landlord was in the process of tearing out the old carpeting. He asked me if I wanted some remnants of carpet for my apartment. I politely declined his generous offer. I had seen enough of that ugly grey carpet over the past three years and I didn't think it would look any better in the full light of ( Read more... ) -
LiveJournal in the news
Here is a news item that caused me to experience a swell of pride for being a member of the LiveJournal community. I was not aware that LJ was part of the political scene in Russia. I support LJ being used as a platform in the free speech movement anywhere freedom of expression is under threat. The occasional DDoS outages can be taken as proof ( Read more... )
