Twice in a row, at the same time of the evening. We, as in St. Louis, experienced heavy and severe thunderstorms coupled with tornado warnings. Last night it was timed so perfectly that I skipped Yoga when I really really wanted to go now that I have my own rubber strappy thing to hold my extended leg in the air at 45 degrees from my torso

Sometimes I wish we had real weather in southern CA. This isn't one of those times. Tornados...*shiver*

It's like having an interest in Herpatology keeping aware of the danger of snakes.

I'm so completely stupid when it comes to storms... last year we had a similar situation and instead of grabbing the kitties and getting down to the basement, I got comfy on my bed, right in front of the window, and watched the storm as if it were an episode of "Mama's Family" that I had never seen before.

Lying in bed watching Mama doesn't sound stupid to me, however, it might not be a bad idea to have a bonus tv/dvd player in the basement. :) It's bound to be more entertaining that my basement.

No, actually I was quite lucky.

The room that had the pouring of the water was the room next to the room with my stuff in it, plus it was on the opposite side so even the people's stuff in the flooded room seemed okay because of the drain in between.

I was thankful.
