That kills the argument that Heterosexual marriage is the only form of marriage sanctioned by god as it is the only form of marriage that can produce children.
Well, it is the only kind that will do that without advanced biotechnology. OTOH, hunting and gathering is the only way of life that works for us without the domestication of animals, yet I notice that this hasn't stopped us from building civilizations. And I'm living in a climate that would be uninhabitable without clothing, and yet I don't see any major movement here either for compulsory nudism or migration to Mexico.
We're inherently technological creatures, and to live as such is proper to Man.
