i just popped open a root beer. you know, one of those one that comes in a dark brown glass bottle. the kind you pretended was actual alcohol when you were twelve and thought you could fool people that easily. and anyway, i'm thoroughly not enjoying it. it is exciting me in absolutely no way. what kind of apathetic stupor do you have to be in

is that the same rootbeer from this summer? maybe it went bad. lost that "je ne sais quoi" that all good root beer should have.

it was the rootbeer from this summer. but i don't there was anything technically wrong with the rootbeer itself (except that i opened it, took a sip and left it uncapped on my desk all day before drinking the rest). i think i was just feeling so apathetic that even rootbeer couldn't get me excited.
