I've spent the last few years reading way too much. I love to read and it's become an easy out in lieu of actually applying myself and accomplishing anything more than the bare minimum required to scrape by. Yeah I lost a good bit of time to BSG. It is an awesome an intense show, and while it made me a little crazy it wasn't as annoying as Lost (which I gave up on in 2nd season).

I can only imagine the stillness and awe you can find in the eyes of your own child.
For a myriad of reasons I won't have any of my own, but that is one of the things I definitely jealous of.

And yes, the internet is sucking productivity out of all our souls. Right now I'm in a class for crying out loud. 10 years ago you'd never have caught me doing this, let alone "getting away" with it. Things get curiouser and curiouser the easier our access to information becomes.

Maybe it's life, showing me life is about more than distraction.

I've been realizing that for the past several years, my life has solely been about distraction. On the rare days when I am without Internet access, I get so much more done.
