I need new glasses. My current pair of glasses have been with me since 2000. One of the original arms broke entirely off during my hiking trip to Isle Royale last summer, and the replacement arm is not doing a satisfactory job. Every time I look down they nearly fall off my face.

So should I get a new pair, or should I bite the bullet and get

not that it matters, but i vote for glasses. with thick, dark frames. but that's just me.
