I've been sitting here thinking about what the difference is between "Good-looking" and "attractive". As in what defines both and our individual perspectives on such things

I concur with your definition. A few times I have encountered people who are technically classically goodlooking but about as attractive as a tepid bath. Then there the funny looking/smelling folk who are a liability to be seen out in public with but are incredibly attractive.

It is very odd, sometimes it's sheer force of personality that makes them gorgeous when everything this really isn't:)
