Patience, or hurry?

So, patience is a virtue right? i firmly believe in this statement, i always have. But i have a question for everyone to answer that no one has been able to really answer as of yet. If we are told patience is a virtue, then why are we told to live life to the fullest because we have so little time to live? i'm serious. i didn't get that from anyone ( Read more... )

That is one damn good question!!! I really have no answer for it, but I do know where this question came from. Maybe being patient doesn't really ever pay off in the end. However on the other hand being patient also ensures that you don't rush into mistakes, which i have been known to do on far too many occassions. I think in your case though you are trying to be patient yet at the same time your being very impatient at trying to be patient, your on the edge. If that made any sense. I think we need to meet new people, and you know what i mean.

If I may quote part..."we have to have patience because if we don't we rarely get the best of something. but then again, if we wait, a better opportunity could pass by while..."

So be patient and wait, until you see something that is or could be a better opportunity and then take that. But since there are no guarantees, if the opportunity that you thought was something good that would have passed you by turns out to be not what you wanted or expected...go back to being patient and waiting for the first.

Does that make sense? At least a smidget....or did I just make a complete ass outta myself. lol. Jk.
