Friday night and yesterday were the last gaming tournaments of the season at the library. We had the best turnout yet, but that's not saying a whole lot. On Friday we had seven adults. We played MarioKart Wii and SuperMario Smash Brothers Brawl. After the tournament was over, several of us stayed and played Mario Party 8. Fun and restful. Got me ready for Saturday.
On Saturday we had, I think, nine kids show up in the morning. Same games, and about three other kids wandered in, played for a while and wandered back out, without ever joining the tournament.
In the afternoon, we had 16 people show up for the Teen Tournament. Five of them were not teens, but since there was not an objection, I let them play anyway. We had more fun and I had less stress than any tournament we've done so far.
Next tournament season will be June, July and August, if I can get the equipment reserved.
