Excuse my previous outburst, but I honestly could not contain myself.
I still can't.
I met one of my idols *squee*

Now, before I get into my show re-cap, I want to visually introduce you all to the man I met.

Meet Circa fucking Survive <3 If Green Day did not exist, these guys would without a doubt be my favorite band.

Anthony Green, one of the few men I actually find to be sexy as hell >:D

Seriously. He's so fucking adorable. I can't even stand it.

c:

Cuddle party? :D

<3

This was the best picture my brother got from the show.

This...this was the moment. The creepy blur of a face on the left is me, and the only person in the picture who is not a blur is Anthony :D

It's so very tempting to continue the picspam, but I must move on. I have a show to re-cap :)
I'm going to write this as I would write a fic to save my thoughts from scrambling themselves into an unintelligible fangasm.

We arrived at the Rave almost exactly at 7:00, just as they were unlocking the side doors. The first band had yet to take the stage, and there was a modest crowd hovering near the stage waiting to be entertained. My brother, his friends, and I wandered through that crowd and ultimately decided to congregate near the merch stand as the opening band began to play. Instrumentally, they were alright, but after about five minutes of only instrumentals, we rapidly lapsed into boredom. We waited for someone to start singing.

No one ever did. The first opening band was strictly instrumental. My brother and his friends were pissed off by the lack of vocals and took it as a sign that they should go outside to smoke. That point of our adventure was far less awesome than the rest, for it was cold as hell outside, and I don't smoke. I got to stand there watching them suck their cancersticks and freezing my tits off for ten minutes before we went back inside. The instrumental band was still playing, so two of us bought some merch while the rest found a table near the bar to sit at. We stayed there until the second band came out. The lead singer was so awkward he was almost painful to watch, but something he said immediately peaked my interest.

He started to talk about Anthony Green.

He spoke of his family values and how they're inspiring, how he is inspiring, and welcomed him on stage to play with his band. My brother and his friends were too wrapped up in making fun of the band to notice Anthony Green had snuck on stage to play guitar for one song. I kept my eyes locked on him the entire time, relishing every moment because I knew he wouldn't be taking the stage with his own band until about 7:45. It was disheartening once the song ended and Anthony disappeared, but I quickly got over it. He would be back, after all.

The last opening act vocally reminded me of Circa, but I wasn't particularly impressed with their performance. It was fairly generic, and I couldn't understand the vocals because the lead singer wasn't singing loud enough. We lost interest in this band as well and once again slunk off to mingle in front of the merch stand. Best. Idea. Ever. Not only was it a fantastic place for people-watching (drunk people, stoners, crazy dancing...you name it, we saw it), it was where I officially lost my mind.

A tiny little guy, barely an inch or two taller than my meager 5'4", walked by. He was wearing a gray jacket over a flannel shirt and skinny jeans, which automatically made him fairly anonymous in the crowd, but I knew who he was right away. I just wasn't expecting him to be so short. My eyes were huge by that point, and an epic squeal was just waiting to ooze out of my mouth the second my initial shock subsided. I looked over at my brother, whose eyes were just about as wide as mine. We squealed together. His friends still had no idea what was going on, but as my brother and I made a beeline towards Anthony, they realized who he was. They all geeked.

Anthony Green was talking with his merch guy when my brother tapped him on the shoulder. Anthony turned around, took one look at all our Circa shirts, and grinned. My brother blurted, "Anthony, I love you," and shook his hand. Mr. Green laughed and thanked my brother as two other kids walked up to get autographs from Anthony. He signs their shit, signs my brother's ticket stub, signs my brother's friends' shirts, all while I'm standing there in shock.

Then Anthony fucking Green turned to me. My heart stopped. I nearly couldn't muster up the balls to hold out my ticket stub for him to sign, and part of me didn't want to. I just wanted to talk to him, but I had no words. He saved me by being the first to speak. He put his hand on my shoulder, leaned in so close I could feel his stubble on against my cheek and his breath on my ear, and said, "Thank you for being a fan." He also said something along the lines of thank you for the support, referring to my Circa shirt, but I was so far beyond conscious thoughts at that point I could hardly process his words. Anthony Green...thanking me?! Shit. I thanked him right back for actually coming to Milwaukee.

Finally, after he released his grip on my shoulder, I grew the balls to ask for an autograph. He smiled and did so before thanking us all one more time. He joked around with one of my brother's friends, was a total dork, and then...he was gone.

Life made, and Circa hadn't even taken the stage yet XD

Sorry if that was a ridiculously long read, but I had to go into extreme detail because I remember every little thing about it. My God, I can't get over how adorkable and tiny and nice Anthony was. It was almost like he was shocked to have fans. I love him <3

Now, for some video!spam ;)

The sound sucks. Anthony's voice was definitely not that quiet, but this is the best version I could find. The balloons the roadies threw out at the crowd were huge, and due to the ceiling being so low, one nailed the guy behind me directly in the face. It was hilarious. Also, I love how Anthony was singing to a balloon and molesting some and just asdfghjkl.
"I love it when you play with my balls."
Trust me, Mr. Green...we love it too XD

Bra! Oh God, so the circumstances in which he acquired said bra were hysterical. First, he was trying on hats from people who were standing right up against the barrier, asking if he could pull either of them off. Of course he could. He's gorgeous. As he was returning the second hat, a bra sails on to the stage. Anthony more or less ran away from it at first as if he was grossed out by it, but after a while he giggled and approached it. A massive grin danced across his face, and before we knew it, he was wearing the bra.
Life made yet again.

Alright, last video I'm going to post, I promise.
This was the very last song they played. I thought it was incredibly powerful how for over half of the song, the crowd held him up. He had the crowd so very connected with him right from the beginning. His stage presence is phenomenal.
At one point during the show, I made eye-contact with him, and I was singing the lyrics as loud as I could. He grinned at me :)

At one point during the show, I think Anthony forgot where he was because he incorporated Chicago into the lyrics, but he redeemed himself later. He told us we were the most evil venue of the tour. Why?

Jeffrey fucking Dahmer.

Welcome to Milwaukee, Mr. Green ;)

circa survive, lifepost, holy fucking shit
