Amusing story tomorrow night on a current affair.

Some guy with an addiction to (what looks like) WoW or something.
He spends 16 hrs a day on it.

Ah, I remember those days... finishing playing Action Quake (yes, showing my age) after 15 hours straight and being able to see it when you close your eyes.

Oy. Glad I don't do that anymore. Occasionally I'll go for half a day or so, but usually that comes in bursts which don't last long.

i used to mud for hours at a time. usually all night, and managed 24hrs + sometimes. then it was time to leave the uni lab, i'd hallucinate riding my bike home!

the kid can't be playing 16 hours a day because he goes to school and at some point would need to sleep. he also physically can't play on tuesday nights because of server downtime. plus if the mother is getting that worked up about it, she needs to shut her noise hole and either take the computer off the kid or restrict his time on it. i know he's 16 but he still lives in her house, he's technically still a kid, it's her rules.
