Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde
Last Month, I took the train over to Roskilde Denmark to check out the Viking Ship Museum. Have to write a 10 page paper on the architecture that houses all these reconstructed viking ships. The picture below is of a 36 meter long replica of the largest viking war ship to have been found in the world.
They hand axe cut the planks for the ship from that log in the foreground. Its a long interesting process, and I'll put a link in here to the web page that gives a digital demonstration of the building process.
