Why it's freaking hard to write/find a satisfying puzzleshipping story (in my preference anyway)

Well, since I'm writing this in my journal, so I'm talking about my biased personal preference in a "satisfiying puzzleshipping story", so please don't take offense if my kink is not your kink. Normally when I think about an epic story, the first thing come to my mind is PLOT. PWP and character monologue over a certain event could be entertaining ( Read more... )

Yep, for the most part I completely agree! If you ask me, that's what makes it great when I'm able to find a real gem of a fanfiction. Most of the time I'm so desperate for puzzleshipping I don't really care, but yeah... When I find an awesome, spectacular, amazing fanfiction, it makes me so happy!

Did you draw that fanart, by the way? Because oh my gosh, the coloring is beautiful. *0* Soooo preeeettyyyyyy~

Same go for me, I'm desperate too. If I stick with all the things above to find puzzleshipping, the number of fics get out from that filtering would be single digit. But sometime clicking all fics that marked Yami/Yugi could turn out disastrous. For example ( ... )

I feel your pain SO MUCH! I think the only difference is that I just suck it up and read the cliché fanfiction right away, usually no matter how bad the person's spelling or grammar is. xD I can be a very shameless, desperate person when it comes to fanfiction about my OTP. Hahaha. Unless it's really bad, in which case I do have to backbutton for the sake of my sanity. *sobs*

You really drew them? Geeze, I keep thinking your art can't possibly get more pretty, and then you prove me wrong! Seriously, I can't get over how pretty the soft coloring you did was in these pictures. The one where Atem is holding a knife to Yugi's throat was my favorite one, too, actually. x3 I think I just about drove myself crazy thinking of the situations in which Atem would hold a knife to Yugi's throat. But ahhhh, I can't help myself~! ^q^ Your pictures make me such a happy fangirl.

Actually I only back button when it's too bad. With the spelling i mentioned, it's not just genuine miss spell (if so I would be a total hypocrite), but it's like one or two mistake per sentence, make it look almost intentional(and they are totally one could be fixed by a simple spell check, seriously x_X).And about cliché , I don't mean every cliché, I do like to read well written one. But these story with overused drama like pregnant, abusive ex,cheating.. just make me push the back button fast. And the particular one I called fragmented and nonsense is like this: in the previous chapter, those two was confessing their undying love(even though they have just known each other for like four days), then in the next, each of them go have sex with their ex, and none of them minded, and then their ex shoot them with a gun. Drama much? (I'm not making it up, I swear x_X ) Each chapter is like 800 word long max and they don't make much sense. And there are more and more stories like that recently. But what bugged me the most is their LONG ( ... )

Have you ever read a blindshipping fic called Written in the Stars, by Technicolor Nina?

To me, it's one of the best blindshipping fics I've read.

THANK YOU. This story is amazing so far. It's so funny! Also, to return the favor, try reading 'innocence caught in the middle' by lilyflower666 and its sequel, 'my mates, my life'. :)
