Today's the anniversary of arguably the single most important naval conflict ever. The 200th anniversary, in fact.

On this day in 1805 was the battle of Trafalgar.

I think I'm going to drink something British tonight.

Trafalgar is just a great word and that is what the physics geek has to say about that.

Did you see that they had a great festival in the square in comemmoration? Complete with demonstrations of naval technology, fireworks and hullabaloo.
