A few notes for my students

A reminder for my mutant psychology class that your written essays on the mutant genetics argument are due Friday. If you've been procrastinating, now's a really good time to work on that. I'm not giving anyone extra time on the assignment ( Read more... )

Ahh, with the assignment, my argument links to some videos from recent politics in my works cited. But the original video is in english, without subs. Is that okay?

And I hope that your stress goes away soon, sensei. If there's anything that I can do to help...?

That's perfectly fine. I won't have any troubles with it.

I hope so as well, but considering the things that have been going on as of late, I'm trying not to hold my breath over it. I'm not sure if there's much that can be done to help. ...Other than possibly helping remind your classmates to stop doing things that could potentially get themselves killed. I've been getting enough grey hairs naturally without getting even more due to the sheer amount of stress and worry all of you enjoy subjecting me to.

Okay good!

...Uhh, this is RAGS, I suppose. We signed up for this. Though, as I remember, it's usually more stressful, sensei. I'm thinking of the Halloween incident and the Toddler thing and the drowning. We haven't had any major catastrophes. Just a bunch of minor ones.

Maybe I should. I can make posters and stick them up everywhere. 'Think before you act, what would your teachers say?', 'Is this is a decision that would get you lynched?', "Will you regret this action for up to 20 years in the future?' Maybe I'll even get Davide to make some puns for me too.

Try not to jinx things by saying that, Saeki-kun. We've been surprisingly lucky lately that things have remained minor, even if they're numerous and seem to be building up.

I worry that the first one might sound like a challenge to some of our more trouble-prone students, so it's probably best to avoid using that one. Though if you think placing up posters will help, then you have my permission to do so. I'm sure Sanada-kun could show you some good locations to place them since he's fond of putting up posters himself even if they tend to not last long before someone defiles them.

Is there anything I can help you with? I may not be a teacher, but I'm sure there's something I can do to help lighten your load.

It might be best if you try to keep a bit of distance from me for the time being, Saori-san. My mood is already starting to get the best of me and I don't want to end up taking it out on you. As it is, I'm already punishing you by having placed the culprit who attacked Ida on mandatory sessions with you as part of his punishment.

Really now. First Tsuge now you? You snapping at me isn't a problem but if you want some space for now, thats fine. And it's not a punishment for me to talk to any of the students, so don't worry about it.

It might help for you to find some way to let off some steam though. Maybe you and Tsuge can find something to do together when he feels more in control of himself.

(Ooc: Tsuge pretty much said the same thing XD she's wondering about how similar those two can be sometimes)

...I'm sorry. I'm not trying to shut you out. I just don't like the thought of letting you become a victim of whatever irritability I'm unable to defuse.

Perhaps. He tends to have far different methods for letting off steam in comparison to me, though.

If its so bad to anger him, what the hells he doing being a teacher? Unless that's just how it is in mutant schools. But hey, pissed was what I was going for.

I think that car was a pretty small price to pay compared to what he did to Hiroshi. He can fix the the thing anyway. It's not like I totaled it.

But thanks for not ratting me out. Next time Ill make sure you won't have to.

This school has a number of things different from it in comparison to your typical school. Tsuge-sensei may have a temper that can kill, but he has worked hard over the years to get it under control so that he can help the school by teaching the new generations how to do the same. Like he was doing with Chinen-kun when things went wrong. Unfortunately, it seemed he let his temper flair up during their last session and hit Chinen-kun back. While I'm unhappy that he let himself slip like that, I've come to understand that Chinen-kun is by no means an easy individual to get along with. I'm sure even you know this, whether or not you're a close friend of his. Then throw in some supposed issues regarding family between them, and it's a surprise things didn't happen sooner than they did ( ... )

Putting two hotheads in a room together was a bright.

Now there's a label I've never seen before. But hey, sure. I've got no problem having a pretty lady pay attention to me for a couple of hours. You sure you want me around that car though?

It's a class for managing emotion-based abilities. Flaring tempers is part of the course, I believe, and in all the years Tsuge-sensei has been teaching here, he hadn't had a problem like this at all before Chinen-kun became his student. We all naturally expected him to be able to handle him just like he has with everyone else with a bad temper before him.

Good~ Perhaps you'll get along with her better than your friend seems to be, in that case, as I've given him mandatory sessions with her as well. And yes, I do. Since you said you're not going to total it, there's not much else left for you to do to it but reverse what you did to it.

I am loving the Mysteries class, sensei! It is nice to use my brain and not just my powers, thank you! ^_^

I already turned in my conclusions. You did get them, correct?

Well, I am the psychology teacher. So using your brains does tend to be par of the course with me. But I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying yourself. I'm sure you'll end up liking the next case as well.

I did. You gave some interesting reasonings for things that most of the class didn't really think about. I like seeing that. Thinking outside the box is a good trait to have for this class. This case was a fairly simple one, but I won't always make it seem easy to figure out what line of thought to follow. Keep that in mind for later.

Yes, well, in classes like Math and such, the focus is on learning How It Is Done. Which, Math is interesting and all, but I like a class where you have to figure it out on your own! ^_^

Oo, color me intrigued, sensei! I'll look forward to it!
