Back to normality

After what felt like an eternity dealing with the effects of the water contamination, it seems like everyone is starting to feel better now, myself included, so I've begun catching up on everything that I need to. I know everyone isn't exactly happy with the thought of having to do remedial lessons for a few more weeks, but I will do my best to ( Read more... )

...I'm trying to decide if you are using sarcasm or not.

She's my mother, so yes, I imagine we do look alike in some ways.

It's always a mystery with me.

Interesting.

So it would seem.

I've always been told I look more like my father, though.

To others, perhaps. She can be on the overbearing side at times, though. Because of it, I have to be careful with who she interacts sometimes. I've watched her slap and tell off some of my students before.

W-wow...she sounds a little intense ahaha. I hope I don't upset her like that then hehe.

It's usually only with students whom she believes talk back to their elders and/or generally act unpleasant. So no, I don't believe you will be in any danger of receiving one of her "slaps of redemption", as it were.

Obstacle course sounds cake. Are teams really necessary though?

[ooc: Hahaha... oh no. You know the moment Hiyoshi reads 'self esteem' he's going to start thinking of all the ways he can put them down and hack away at their confidence :x Putting them to the test would be his excuse, but, well.]

Yes and you will have to work together for it otherwise you will be unable to complete it.

[OOC: Saitou says if he does so, then his entire team will likely want to kick him out of the group. But of course, then the entire group will automatically get a failing grade for failing to work together to complete the course. So he suggests saving his insults for later if he's going to behave like a colossal douchebag (to paraphrase).]

What's that, obstacles like pitfalls and using teammates' bodies as a human ladder?

[ooc: Like they wouldn't want to by default? xDD Are powers allowed during the obstacle course?]

saitoupsychout July 29 2013, 03:51:46 UTC
That would be one of the obstacles, yes. And before you consider it, attempting to go around the pitfall will take you out of bounds and would be considered cheating.

[OOC: Point taken. >>; And yes, powers will be allowed. ...Unless Tsuge decides to make them do it over again a second time without their powers to prove some additional point.]

It's Ryuuzaki-sensei's choice and she owns the school, so try your best to endure the situation, Atobe-kun. But as I said, just because you are in class, doesn't mean it will necessarily be real work that you are doing. I'm sure the other teachers are also more than a little exhausted from what we just dealt with, so taking it easy and doing something fun may be in everyone's itinerary.

She is a tyrant. Provided it's not a waste of my time then I suppose I shall grace you with my presence.

At times, yes, but it keeps this school running and none of us would be here if not for her. That's very thoughtful of you, Atobe-kun, but whether or not you enjoy matters, I never said it was an optional choice.

Ahh, Birthday club's got to do something for the festival.

Hmmm....I'm all out of ideas. Maybe we could host a trivia contest about the other students? I mean, that's why most of the members are good, because we knows things about the people we're celebrating for? But the only problem with that are mean questions....

Hmm, yes, coming up with an idea for a birthday club is a bit difficult. And while the idea of a trivia contest does sound fun, I worry about bringing up matters that students may not necessarily enjoy talking about with their families and, yes, rude or unpleasant questions directed at other students.

Ahh, yeah. I'm really stumped for ideas though. Maybe we could just help with decorations and general setting up of the festival? Since we're mostly used to that already?

I suppose that might be the best choice to go with. Considering what time of the year it will be in a few weeks, maybe we should also speak with those in town about general decorations. We'll have our hands full if we need to take care of that, but I imagine some of those in town would help us.
