Moving things right along~

I hope that everyone has started to settle into things now that the first few weeks of the semester have passed. There's going to be a lot of interesting things to look forward to this school year. And while I'm sure some are thinking my definition of fun resembles giving everybody more quizzes, I promise that's not what I have in mind. For the ( Read more... )

Thank you again for sponsoring the Yoga Club, sensei. It really helps.

Oh, I'm happy to help~ It's always nice to be able to have fun while working, and I'm glad to see so many students interested in doing yoga. I've been practicing it for years, though I hadn't really thought a club would be formed around it until now.

I second his thanks! It is nice to feel that we have already made a positive contribution to the school after being here for such a short time ^_^

Yes! Suggestions are my forte. I think it would be fun to reenact the Milgram experiment, or the Stanford prison experiment. It would be a valuable experience.

Hmm... The Milgram experiment is interesting, but may be a bit difficult to accomplish in a classroom setting. Perhaps we can have another class join us for the activity, though. That could make it easier in dividing up the roles.
But the Stanford Prison one is a little too unpleasant to turn into a class activity. And I'd rather not have any of you trying to psychologically torture one another in the name of the roles being played. In fact, I imagine that would be something likely to have me removed from my job if I did that.
Thank you for offering suggestions though, Hiyoshi-kun. I appreciate it.

The point of suggestions are for you to take them, especially the more fun of the two. Do it for science?

No, suggestions are simply that. They're suggested options. I can choose to take the suggestion or reject it, and I'm choosing to reject the experiment that results in psychological trauma and abuse. That experiment ended early for a reason and no, I'm not interested in finding out what the full results would be in the name of science.
Though I didn't say I was rejecting the other idea. I am still considering it. So there's no reason for you to make a fuss over things.

No, Kirihara-kun. Trying to kill off all your classmates would definitely be a very bad idea. Try again.

I'm sure he meant Battle Royal as in the game. There's plenty of things to analyse with a simulation like this-- everything from 'fight or flight' to rampant paranoia.

I'll suggest the idea to Tsuge-sensei for his class, then, since activities like those are more his realm. We might be able to study the results of the game once it starts, but I am not putting it together myself.

Can I suggest that we add naptime?

No, I'm afraid not, Echizen-kun. You can take a nap after you finish class.

Then I'm with Kirihara, sorta.

Games are good.

I'll take your opinion into consideration in that case.
