:D I'm so proud of myself at the moment. *takes a minute* Ok, I'm back.

The Nerd 2.0 Test is rather weird and a bit dated if I remember correctly. I took it a few years ago and the questions were pretty much the same although it didn't have the bit about the iPhone...I think. The test tried to incorporate too many elements into it, ie dork, nerd, and geek aren't all the same thing, so there was a huge mash of different questions that didn't flow together well. Still a fun test to take when there's nothing to do but stare at a computer screen and ignore your RSS feed count for the second week in a row. *facepalm*

I also got lucky on the Doctor Who test when it came to classic Who. I've only seen one episode ("The City of Death") and know the general premise of the "Unearthly Child", so that really saved me. Phew!

Weirdest thing about it is my low dork score... I should be massively high on that. And where's my "screw this group" option for the books/computer/DVDs question? *pouts*

Yeah, I got lucky in the same way - An Unearthly Child is one of the handful of old eps I've seen, and I knew from someone else about the Cybermen's allergy to gold, so, yeah. If it had been a lot more Classic Who-focussed, I could have been in real trouble.

City of Death's one of the ones I haven't seen, though - isn't the Master in that?

Hmm, totally got the Cybermen and gold allergy wrong on that test. It was never mentioned in the new series and I've only seen very small snippets of old Cybermen. Oh well!

"City of Death" did not have the Master in it although it did have a very intelligent villain that was scattered into seven parts across time. Although I wasn't overly impressed by the ep the first time I watched it, the more I think on it the more I want to watch the ep again (I was on pain killers at the time). The only thing that really aggravated me about the episode, as a whole, was the bull-headed inspector who used his fists to solve just about everything. I also wasn't impressed by the Time Lady Romana either. Sure, she was Time Lady smart, but she was so...so...I don't know. Naive? Unaware? Uninteresting? Uninterested?

I do, however, need to start watching some Classic Master episodes. I also want to watch some of the Classic Dalek episodes as well. If only there was more time to watch Doctor Who. Sigh.

Their respiratory systems aren't really open enough to make it an issue in the new series, that'll be why they've not mentioned it, I suppose.

Aw, I was sure City of Death was one of the Master ones... that's okay, I'll get to them eventually. Um, which Romana was it? Cos what I've seen of the first one (the brunette) didn't really impress me, but I adore the second (blonde) one, who's very lively and cute.

Mm, I'm working on getting more time to watch it, too. Once my classes are over, that'll help, but at the moment, most of my "getting away to watch stuff by myself" time is given over to the rewatch. I recommend Genesis of the Daleks, though, and I've heard Power of the Daleks is supposed to be good, but I've not been able to find it.

The low resolution on that first one makes me cry blood. D:
