Homura. I don't think I could see you as anyone else. I mean, the stupid people thing...think of the "gods" in Heaven. They were basically morons, they treated him like they did because they feared and didn't understand him. He's always going on about how others "don't understand" and all that crap. Especially with Goku.

And think about it...Homura would be a loner because he was the next War Prince...he had to fight alone because no one would follow him into battle. That wasn't their job. It was his. Yeah, I see Homura.

Also, I agree...despite the subtext...I don't see Sanzo/Goku happening...I think it's more of a Teacher/Student relationship...Goku is so the next Sanzo...
