Writing another book, Games and Japanese Oh and Depression

August 1st I started the next book. It has no title yet. So far its going alright. Writing as if my ass is on FIRE, I tell you! FIRE! Trying to slow down a bit considering I don't need to finish the book until the end of October. So 1.5K wordcount a day is a perfect length than my previous 2K-3K a day. Thumbs up for Xenosaga and P4! I'm planning on starting up Xenosaga I+II for the DS soon (even though I know it sucks...) just because I want to go through the storyline again and it will be hilarious having them all as midgetized sprites.

What boss are you stuck on in FFXIII?

If you want to read some true Japanese fantasy, I can't recommend Uehashi Nahoko enough. For her Guardian series you can even watch the anime and read the manga to get you into the feeling before reading the novels (though my favorite of hers is Kemono no Souja.)

I had no idea Xenosaga was on the DS! Holy Shit! This is the first time I'm playing through the game (Yeah, I know, I'm so late!)

The boss I'm stuck on is the very last one before the game opens up in the plains or something. Oh man, I feel extra sucky because I can't remember the name of the guy but it was Big Story Twist. Or Something. But I remember being extremely pissed off because it took me half an hour to get to the point where he curses me and I'm trying like mad to kill him off before I die. I KEEP DYING!

I will look up Uehashi Nahoko right now. Kemono no Souja, Sounds familiar---Hmm! I think someone on my Twitter feed is reading that right now.

Yeah, Xenosaga on DS is pretty much just a lo-fi version of the first two PS2 games. Mostly want to play for the hilarity.

Do you mean the boss at the end of chapter 10, or the one at the beginning of chapter 11? If the one at the end of chapter 10, you just have to time it so you can break him soon and deplete all of his HP while he's broke. Don't give him time to metamorphosize. If you do it will be extremely hard to kill him. Look up some videos on Youtube if you aren't sure on how to go about it. If it's the one at the beginning of Chapter 11... I don't know, that one was so easy I forgot about it (though I've heard other people say it's rather difficult.)
