I've begun to believe that many people manage to get to college-age and beyond not knowing that lint traps exist or must be cleaned periodically. The ones in the Mudd laundry rooms are almost always full...

Almost every time I do laundry in our house, the lint trap is full and I KNOW I'm not the only one who checks it because I've talked about it with a couple of housemates. Bafflement.
It's nice to be able to "fix" little house problems. I got to put batteries in smoke detectors this year, which was fun.
Your apartment sounds nice. :)
