The seed of the idea came from that scene in Sherlock, when SH reveals he's still alive to John and, among other things, John tells him that just one word would have saved him from his years of grief? Well, that's been floating around in my mind for ages and this was what finally came of it. Of course, this was three words, but close. ;-)
