Alright, time for more ToD!
The last episode ended with Mary joining my party. She is pretty damn hardcore, as I think her status image implies.
Mary's attack sounds hardcore y/y
My battle lineup, just for the hell of it.
I left town the way I came in (because, as you might remember, I need a passport to leave town in any other direction), and for once a video game character is actually helpful in providing directions.
...although I guess I probably could have figured out that I was supposed to go the direction I hadn't gone before, but whatever.
Uh, so there was a secret passageway hidden in some trees that I didn't get a screenshot of because it kind of snuck up on me. :D?
Stahn: :D
Mary: Please don't fuck this up.
And then I got to fight some balls. Just wanted to let you know that.
Hey, new weapon already.
I'm pretty sure Dymlos was a better weapon than the Saber, so it went to Mary. Lilith, sadly, still has no weapon.
I got a verb? IDK
It's MYSTERIOUS AND SPECIAL. That doesn't actually explain anything.
Maybe Lilith will be able to figure out what it does.

It's a lot more fun than Missile Sword.

Aura Discs let Swordian users learn spells that they normally wouldn't with just their Swordian. If you equip a character with this one, they'll learn Fireball.
...which Stahn already has, but it also raises stats, so I'll give it to him for the moment.

Hahaha, so basically it's the first attack Stahn gets but BETTER because MARY IS TOO HARDCORE FOR THAT WIMPY MISSILE SWORD.
Mary will not let me explore. >:(

It took me like half a second to remember exactly which episode that's from, too. I went straight from "That's familiar..." to "SLAYERS NEXT FORBIDDEN DANCE EPISODE."
Granted, Gourry didn't need rescuing after the scene above.

It's not really clear why you only need to press one button to turn off the trap for the pedestals on the left and right, whereas the one in the middle needs two buttons pressed. THAT'S JUST THE WAY IT WORKS.

And then I stood there for a second because I didn't realize the game wanted me to walk the two steps forward myself. :P
