Summary: Shockwave prefers being alone in his lab when he's working.
Notes: ...Well. I wrote this about... Two months ago? I think this may have been my third attempt at TF fanfiction, but it was so short and pointless that I never posted it. Also, it sorta lacks a proper ending... I blame
odd_stick for it being up now.
“Shockwave!”
Just ignore it. He had to. He was still behind the door.
VOP!
Or not.
“Shockwave!”
Numbers. Calculations. He needed to focus, lest this pest get his way with him.
The space bridge, that was it. Nearly 3 Earth years ago, Optimus had managed to destroy it and then damage it further by jumping through it. Ever since, Lord Megatron had not had the resources nor the time to replace it. Now it seemed he did, so it was up to him to make all of the necessary calculations for its fabrication.
VOP!
“Shockwave!”
Oh dear sweet merciful Primus he was getting closer.
“I know you’re here, I can hear you tapping on that keyboard!”
Silently he thanked Lord Megatron for granting him such a large workspace and the resources necessary to build things in it that hid his person.
He couldn’t help it though; he looked behind him, pausing in his calculations.
VOP!
“SHOCKWAVE!”
Curious. His floor was far dirtier than he’d previously thought.
“Skywarp, I suggest you remove yourself from my back.” Shockwave commanded.
The purple seeker grinned and stretched himself out along his back, like he was a personal berth for him. “I’m comfortable.”
Shockwave chose not to comment, pushing himself up on the palm of his hand. He felt the seeker tumble off of him and release a whine.
“I’m trying to work Skywarp.”
“You’re always working. Stop that.” Skywarp huffed, deciding he didn’t quite want to let go just yet. So he lunged forward and tackled Shockwave back into the floor.
“Get off.”
“No.”
“Get off Skywarp.”
“Nuh-uh.”
“I will comm Lord Megatron if I have to.”
“….Fine.”
Skywarp slid off of his back and Shockwave was only given enough time to stand before he suddenly found a seeker wrapped around his waist.
The one eyed Decepticon sighed and let his shoulders drop. He couldn’t win here. “What must I do to get rid of you?”
Skywarp’s grin was far more sinister than he was comfortable with.
"Oh, you know. The usual."
Shockwave's optic flickered. "There is no berth here--"
"I know." Skywarp's resulting grin was an upsetting combination of evil intent and feigned innocence.
It seemed the scientist's work was to be set off to the side. "You're insufferable."
"Yup~"
