Maan, it's been ages since I last posted here. I really am too lazy to keep a blog updated. D': But I will try my best to check on here more often. Coz that's what I promised Juu, ne?
So... Here's my update about Japan. ♥
As some of you may know, I came back from my little trip to Japan just some days ago. I went from June 26 to July 11, I was just too lazy to post about it until now.
I will try to keep this as short as possible. I already selected only some of my photos, but there's still so many left. Sorry about that.
I went together with Tsu, Dai and Tei. We stayed at the Shinjuku Washington Hotel in Shinjuku. Which was pretty nice, because we only had to walk for some minutes to get to Shinjuku Station.
Photos of our hotel room:
Since our flight from Paris arrived pretty early, we had to wait for about 4 hours to check into our hotel. So we went to Shinjuku Station to charge our Suica cards and waited in a little park for the rest of the time.
Was I happy to finally get into my room at 2pm. D: I didn't move anymore that day. Understandable considering that I didn't sleep properly for almost 40 hours.
The very next day we went to Harajuku by Yamanote line.
Man, did I love it there. ; 3 ; And man, did Harajuku love my money. lol I spent most of it in the shops there and in Laforet.
That was the first time I came across Japanese Crepe, too. It was love at first... bite?
Oh, just to mention. That time was also the only time the Takuya Angel store was open. I really wanted to go in, but Takuya was just taking a break. It was closed on all of the other days. lol Bad luck, maybe next time.
On the third day we were finally ready for some sightseeing. ♥
So we went to Yoyogi Park and Meiji shrine.
There also happened to be a purification ceremony that day, but we were too late and only got to see the very end of it.
The weather inside the Park was aweful, the air felt so heavy and sticky, I was actually happy to get out. It was really pretty inside, though.
In the end we took the wrong way out of the Park and had to walk all the way back to Harajuku station, which took us about 30 minutes. At least that was the only time we were lost. D':
On the fourth day we went all the way to Yokohama to go to a festival with... 7 bands, I think? Being Jewel, Alibi, Monolith, Bergerac, - Oz -, NEU and... I think I forgot the last one. The Japanese fans were a little different from what I was used to, but I had fun no less and ended up with some new favorites.
That's the river we waited at for the start of the festival, coz we were a little early. There we met a nice Japanese Man who happened to speak a little German, too. :D
Friday was really rainy, quite a bad day to go to the Tokyo Tower. :x We went no less, so please don't mind the clouded pictures. That's what the sky over Tokyo looked like most of the time. We had only two days when the sun was actually shining.
There was also a shrine right beside the Tower, just please don't ask me what it's called. Does anyone of you know?
Saturday was all about shopping in Harajuku, so that really isn't worth mentioning.
But Sunday sure is.
We finally found a Purikura machine in Shinjuku. ♥ We actually went every day after that to make some. lol
And we also went to the Bergerac Oneman in Shibuya BoXX. That was the sadest day of the whole trip, why did they have to announce their disbanding on this concert of all? .___.
That didn't keep us from going to Asakusa the next day, though.
It really is a beautiful part of the town, although it's so packed with souvenir shops that we just couldn't help but buy tones of presents for our family and friends. But I'm sure they don't mind at all.
Sadly the main building of the shrine was just being reconstructed, that's all we got to see from the outside:
Don't laugh, that wasn't funny. D:
That Tuesday was one of our two sunshine days and we used it to have a walk through the eastern gardens of the imperial palace.
We didn't get to see the real thing, though.
Can you tell? I'm slowly getting to an end here. I bet that makes you happier than it made me.
Since we didn't get to see the Kiddie in concert, we went to their event at like an edison that Wednesday.
We actually had to buy their CD to get their autographs, but it was fun to see them live and up close (Spackos, ey. X'D).
The next day was our last festival in Ikebukuro Cyber. That club was quite... let's say... snugly with all those people inside. The unplastered stonewalls in the basement made me feel even more at home. Let's not forget about the nice old man who scattered salt in front of a stairway that was right next to us when we waited outside the club to buy our tickets. Maybe to drive us out? o3o; I don't remember half the names of the 10 bands that played there that day. I only went there to see Hi:brid and Gakido, anyways. But Toon factory and Kelli were quite nice, too.
We also met 4 German girls who were in Tokyo for almost the same time. And what did we do after the concerts? Exactly, we went to MacDonalds.
Man, did the Japanese people stare at us. Maybe they were scared?
I really hope the girls got home just fine and in one piece. :3
Now about our last day.
We really didn't do anything special. Took the last Purikura, went to Harajuku for the last time and went to Shinjuku when the Host Boys were outside.
Tsu promised a friend to do that.
And that's about it.
We spent tones of money, ate only MacDonalds fast food, crepe and conbini food and got addicted to Purikura.
Thanks for that, Tokyo. Really.
I miss it.
Still wanna know more? Well, just ask me. ^^
And I also won't post my Purikura here. There's just too many.
Congrats to those who actually read all of this.
