Kyaaaa~ I'm completely addicted to this drama ♥ I love the charas and the plot.
[ABOUT]
Kamiya Asuka is a high schooler with a special gift: she can see ghosts due to an accident she was involved in. In said accident, both her bestfriends died but, misteriously, she survived. Asuka tries her best evdryday to cope with this new found "gift" and finds a passion in helping the lost souls. She helps them accomplish the last wishes so that they can move on. One day, she meets a young man, Hayamai Kaito, who seems to have the same abilities as her. She soon finds out that he's also a ghost, but "borrowing" a human body in order to fufill his purpose: finding his ex-girlfriend's soul and taking her back to heaven with him. Main proble is, she won't go back with him because she's found a way to possess humans. Asuka & Kaito work together and try to convince Misora to "move on" along with the other souls.
[MAIN CHARACTERS]
Kamiya Asuka: A 17 year old girl, struggling to find her path in life, with a terribly bad habit of saying "impossible" before even trying. She's straightforward and honest in everything that she does, wearing her heart on her sleeve. She believes that ghosts and humans are fundamentally the same therefore, she should help them as much as she can. She does everything she can to help Kaito in his quest realizing along the way her own destiny.
Hayami Kaito: A young man who died early in life along with his girlfriend, in a car accident. He has been granted a special permission and a human body to return to Earth in order to find his girlfriend's soul and bring her back into the light. Kaito starts off his journey desperatly trying to save Misora, but eventually changes due to Asuka. Kaito is against Asuka "helping" other ghosts, saying it's too dangerous and humans & ghosts should never get involved. He cannot live on Earth a a human would, because he's a ghost, nor can he live in heaven because he has a human body. Hence, he's "stuck" between both worlds.
Hongo Misora: Kaito's (ex)girlfriend who died with him. She's a troubled soul who constantly disobeys orders. She's found a way to possess human bodies and refuses to stop, even though Kaito begs her to. Her soul seems unsure of her feelings for Kaito therefore, she's troublesome and does not hear reason.
Aoyama Miku & Mishima Yui: Asuka's bestfriends who died in the accident. They help Asuka in everyway possible by offering advice and by encouraging her to take action.
Anna: A misterious ghost, she's the "ghost guradian". She often gives advice to Kaito about his quest.
[FANGIRL TIME]
Kyaaaa~ ♥ I love ghost stories *__* I always have. I especially love this story because it reminds me a lot of the anime "Ghost Hunt" which I simply adore and maintain they should do a second season. I've always enjoyed movies/shows related to ghosts ... there's just something so magical and romantic about it! ♥ I mean, srsl, "Ghost Whisperer" is full of win, so are "Ghost Hunt", "Ghost Only", ghostbusters and now, Ghost Friends XD
