Five o’clock in the morning.
Everything was quiet in the room. The pale green curtains were closed, but the Sun’s rays passed through, lightly warming up the body on the bed. A peaceful atmosphere reigned in the bedroom, and only the regular sounds of the alarm clock could be heard. The body on the bed moved a little, slowly crumpling the sweet rose sheets. The pleasant fragrance of coffee gradually woke the man up, who left his lovely dream, little by little. The man moved his head from left to right in his pillow before leisurely sitting up on his bed, with the sheets skating over his legs. He stretched his body, removed a brown lock in front of his eyes, and sighed.
“Brother? Are you awake? Breakfast is ready.” A voice came through the door.
“…. Comin’” said Sho, leaving the warm bed with some difficulty; He looked at the clock: 05:12. Why does he have to wake up so early in the morning? He moved toward the mirror, eyes half-opened and his brain still asleep. Passing a hand through his hair, he moaned as he faced his reflection in the mirror and finally entered the bathroom without a word. After a brief moment, he came back in front of the mirror; his eyes wide open in horror and his hands were pinching his skin. A loud scream resounded in the entire house.
************
Two bodies were sleeping and only the sound of deep breaths was heard. The room was totally dark and only the glow of the TV screen lit the area. Clothes were spread all over the ground, an evidence of an agitated but tender night. The chirps coming through the windows slowly woke one of them up. It was not the sound which made him happy but the feeling of a warm body against him. The other one was deeply asleep and only groaned when lips touched one of his cheeks. In front of such a reaction, the man decided to keep on kissing. Starting from a shoulder, he kissed the neck, an ear, a cheek and finally those wet and warm lips. The other man chuckled under the tickling, and passed his arms around the man, who was at present, above him, and pulled him closer. Their lips met again in a deep and passionate kiss.
“Good morning,” said the one on top. Hearing the voice, the other man froze, his heart missing a beat. He hurriedly looked for the bedside lamp, and when the light was on, the two men stared at each other, confusion and fear all over their faces.
“Ohno?!” said the first one.
“Ni--Nino?!” Screamed Ohno, wide-eyed and pointing at Nino.

On the train, all the passengers were focused on a man at the end of the compartment. The man was asleep, arms crossed over his chest and his hat covering his face. The fact he was sleeping wasn’t strange in itself, but in each station, he wakes up, leaves the train, and goes back in again before it leaves, to sit and sleep once more. The truth was that he didn’t know where to go from the time he left his house. Each station was the same, and he was a little lost. Since this morning, nothing went as he wanted. The bed was too hard and he woke up with a painful back. The coffee machine was too complicated to use and it finally broke and spilled all the liquid on his expensive clothes. And finally, one of his rings got stuck in his hair while he was brushing it. It was definitely not his day, and something at the bottom of his heart told him it would not get better.
************
A man was lying down on the sofa with an arm over his eyes and sighing loudly. When he entered in the room, he didn’t bother to switch the lights on. Since this morning, everything was weird: His bedroom; his house, and more particularly himself. Every time he walked in front of a mirror he avoided the reflection and walked faster.
In the dark, he sat on the sofa, slowly massaging his right ankle. When he woke up this morning, he stepped on a pile of mangas and twisted his foot. While remembering this painful moment, his stomach started hurting again. His mother called him out for breakfast, and when he entered the kitchen, a feast was waiting for him. Even if his appetite was gone after two plates, the worried face of his mother dissuaded him from stopping to eat, and now, he felt sick.
The lights were switched on, and after a few seconds of getting used to the brightness, Aiba turned his head towards the newcomer. Jun entered the room with heavy steps, sighing loudly. He let himself fall on the nearest chair and finally turned his sleepy gaze on his band mate.
“Hi…” said Jun cheerlessly.
“H-hi!” Responded Aiba, stressed out. The taller man stared at Jun, anxious. Both were silent for several minutes, which seemed like hours. Unable to bear the heavy silence, Aiba cleared his throat, and started to talk.
“S-so…Bad day?” He asked, not knowing what he could say. There’s no way he could say what he truly wanted, Jun would think he’s mad.
Jun simply nodded in response and the room was filled with silence again. The atmosphere was really awkward, and Aiba’s nerves couldn’t take it anymore. He lifted himself and limped slightly to the direction of the coffee machine. After pouring himself a cup, he offered one to his band mate who refused. Jun looked at Aiba who was staying on his left foot.
“Are you alright?” He asked with concern on his face.
Aiba nodded lightly while taking a little sip. With a reassuring voice, he explained that it was nothing and that in an hour or two he would be fine, but Jun didn’t agree and offered Aiba a massage. The latter refused, and when the youngest of the group approached him, Aiba sharply moved back, spilling the coffee on him. Embarrassed, the taller one apologized and went to the bathroom in a rush. Jun looked at him, puzzled.
“So, it’s a bad day for him too…” He concluded. Then he entered the bathroom as well, and offered his help.
A storm came into the empty lounge. A storm called Sakurai Sho. The rapper was constantly looking at his reflection in a pocket mirror, inspecting each fragment of his skin. Since this morning he was in shock. “This” was horrible and “this” was all over his beautiful face!
“I can’t believe it! I must be dreaming!” He repeated again and again.
He sat on a chair and breathed deeply, calming himself little by little. His fingers were unconsciously playing with the chain around his neck. Sho jumped when he heard a scream coming from the corridor. Nino burst into the room crying, followed by an angry Ohno. Nino stopped for a second when he saw Sho, then his eyes were full of tears again and he threw himself onto Sho, crying harder than before.
“Hey!” said Ohno, trying to pull Nino out from the embrace of the surprised rapper. The magician pushed him aside.
“I have to tell him!” He said in a strangled voice. He focused on Sho again, a hand on each of Sho’s cheek.
“I’m sorry! So sorry! I don’t understand what’s happening. I swear! I’m not cheating on you! Please, believe me! It’s Ohno’s fault!” cried Nino, pointing at Ohno before crushing his lips with Sho’s. At the same time, Aiba and Jun came out of the bathroom and froze, watching the scene.
“Nino...” whispered Jun in a painful voice.
“Aiba!” Exclaimed Sho, completely panicked.
“S…Sho?” Asked Aiba, thoroughly lost.
“Oh-chan? Where are you?” asked Ohno, in a desperate voice.
The last question stunned the other four. They stared at their leader, their mind totally blank. A heavy silence filled the room. Slowly, Jun moved toward Ohno. He stopped, facing his leader, and raised a hesitant hand to touch Ohno’s cheek.
“…Nino?” Asked Jun.
Ohno nodded slowly, taking the hand in his own and pressing it on his cheek.
“EH?!” Screamed the other three. Nino who was still in Sho’s embrace looked at him, his eyes asking a silent question. The newscaster shook his head violently, and after a brief moment, Aiba raised his hand shyly. Nino left Sho and went in Aiba arms; the latter hugged him strongly, in a comforting way.
“Excuse me for interrupting such a lovely scene, but… COULD SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT’S GOING ON?!” Yelled Sho, crushing the pocket mirror in his hand.
