Oh god! I can't take this! It's just too... my heart is breaking. Of course Takaba is hesitating, if he didn't he'd be an idiot! And Asami is being an even bigger idiot, but he's Asami so that is expected *LOL*

hmmm why indeed, I think if Asamai hears what that fake lover had done he isn't going to be to happy at all. Poor Takaba really should have just gone straight to Asami in the morning. Hopefully though Asami finds out what happened and what better way then through the fakes mouth *grins evilly* can't wait for more, and looking forward to when they finally meet up :)

I think you're absolutely right, Asami is going to thunder if he hears about Ren's statements... And even though the smex would be bombastic if Akihito had gone directly for the hotel to Asami, I felt like he would be giving himself over too easily and the impulsiveness would have destroyed Asami's serious effort to let Akihito make a mature decision. Plus I didn't want Akihito to sell out his professionalism completely...

though one thing thats bugging me, Asami said that he was paying Ren to act as his lover, right now it's unknown whether Asami had told Ren the deals off and he aint getting paid nymore and/or that Takaba now knows the truth. So my question is has Asami told Ren of the developements btw him and Takaba? Has he told Ren he doesnt need to pose as his lover anymore? If so then yes a severe punishment is in order but if he didn't then well I wonder what is going to happen... anyway just thought I'd ask :) and yes I think Aki holding back a bit fits the fic perfectly after all when someones trust is broken they tend to be more distrustful towards the offender right? :)
