Yeah, so becuz I don't have any way of getting to my email or AIM now that they put a firewall up here at school, I am BORED OUT OF MY MIND! Well, the good news is that this boredome motivated me to plan my lessons for the next two months... so I'm all set! Good luck with getting your parents visit planned, I know from experience how hard that can be!! I ran into a situation similar to yours when I asked my host family if my friend Stacey can stay with them for a month after I leave (she will pay them just as I pay them and it will be the same as if I lived there). They said yes without a problem, but then when I casually mentioned to my resident director that my friend was coming right before I left, my director said, "Yeah, I asked your host family about that and they said, 'well she (me) asked and we couldn't say no'" I was like, whaaatt?? Because they were SO enthusiastic about it when I talked to them. They were like, "no problem! We'd love to have your friend stay!" It was weird, but everything is worked out now.
