As usual, I need money. Freeman-Asia informed me that I will not be hearing back from them until mid- to late June (way to lie on your website, Freeman-Asia), and getting enough money from working is looking less and less hopeful

Here is an idea, dunno how well it works. It all depends on a lot of things.

If you do art stuff, I assume you know artist and you work at an art store so you should have connections with some. Through an art show, have proceeds for art being sold and stuff go to your trip. Talk to an art gallary see if they will help out for a night. Have a friends band play. Have a good night, provide cheap finger foods and cheap wine and juice and your good.

We did something like that awhile back to help a family out whose father had cancer and couldn't work.

Hmm, I'll definitely look into that. Right now I don't quite feel I have anything worth selling, but if I worked on some pieces over the summer, maybe towards the end I might. Also, by then I might know some people around here better.

My sister's boyfriend had some charity dinner thing, so maybe I could get some help on organizing something like that.

If you sell your eggs you can get up to $7,000. A lot of women do it during grad school. It does involve injecting yourself with hormones but it might be worth it. Looked into it. Seriously. I'm getting to the point that injecting myself for a month doesnt sound so bad - and all of those eggs? I dont want a billion kids....desperation...uhh...

I dunno man. I don't know the details about those hormones, but I guess it's probably not any worse than taking the pill (though, I don't really ever want to take the pill). There's something a little weird about it for me.
