I hate waiting for replies or comments on the internet. I get so impatient. And there's always that disappointment when you go to check to see if there's anything new, and there isn't ( Read more... )

I used to be the head FES at michaels. hehehe. Its an okay job, you deal with more bullshit then you normally would being a cashier but patience is indeed a virtue in that job.

One of the things I'm worried about is the fact that I really haven't been there that long, so I'm not as knowledgeable about the store as I could be. Also, I'm not used to being able to boss people around, and I'm afraid I might be bad at it.

don't worry about it to much. I started at michaels as a FES. I knew the manager from a previous job so he hired me. It was confusing but in a month or 2 i knew everything in the store. "Aisle 11, 3 section back, right side on the bottom shelf...."

I eventually was the person people came to if they needed to find something.

Just remember, your in charge of your front end, you can make it run smoothly or it can be chaos.
