Basketball practice finally over, Ootani was just on his way out. His hair still pulled back into a hair clip--a rabbit one he'd somehow managed to have, possibly one that had once belonged to Koizumi. He doubted she'd want it back now, but he reminded hmself to ask her about it later

Baiken shook out her hair as she left kendo club, trying to get the dampness to dry a bit. Today had been even more of a workout than usual -- she'd had to spar everyone today, and was in a particularly good mood after giving everyone a good solid thumping. Not even knowing she was going to go home to damn 20 pages of science homework was enough to dampen her mood.

Shinai resting against her shoulder, she stalked out of the gym with her head held high -- well, only 160 cm high, but still.

Noticing the even shorter kid nearby, she nodded a greeting. "Oi. Just get out of practice?"

"Yep," Ootani replied, smiling, as he'd had a good day so far. Oh, it's that guy. "You too, huh?"

Short nod. "Yeah."

No sooner had the words left her mouth than one of the freshman brats came up and ruffled up her hair, used her as an armrest as they said hello to Ootani, and started off again. Baiken wasted no time in pegging a pine cone at the kid's head.

"Idiots," she growled. "Short by a couple inches and they act like they're god over you."

"I know what you mean," Ootani said, instantly sympathetic. That had been one of the guys trying out for the team. He'd have to give them a good lecture on the proper respect for shorter people. "They think it's okay to call you chibi and laugh. Freak giants..."
