I don't really know why.. Maybe it's because I've always liked being different. And anime when I discovered it was really, really awesome. I remember giggling uncontrollably when I downloaded my first anime mp3, though. But when you think about it, their music is the same as any other; it's still music, only in a different, foreign language. Of course, it's not foreign to the Japanese themselves, like how OPM isn't foreign to us.

Why are you addicted to JE/Jpop/Japanese stuff?
Well, kinda like what Marga-chan answered, I always wanted to be weird and different. I found it in my likeness for anime. Then starting from there, I got addicted to anime songs, then I got to know different J-pop artists. Then I began listening to their songs and loved it, even if I don't know what it means. Because I didn't understand a single Japanese word, I started studying it. XD
And from there, I began to love everything about Japan. Lol. From anime to Jpop music, from food to places... Everything. XD I wanna go to Japan someday. XD
IF you are in school, or studying, what are the reactions of your classmates to your likings?
Well, I'm still studying. When I was in high school, no one could really understand why I loved anime and Jpop music. I'm the only "otaku" in class so it was kind of hard for me to interact with them cause we had nothing in common. >_Then came college. I ( ... )
