In which moving remains an issue

I am in my new apartment in the sense that my body and my possessions reside here. However, I am not what most people would call "moved in". Every room of the house is in shambles or boxes (or trash bags). I have made serious headway on my studio today, and am typing this update on my desktop computer, which is fully set up for recording. I listened to a few songs from your show. Didn't really dig the Siouxsie cover, but Tones on Tail is always good.

What's the new Ulrich Schnauss like? I'm not sure what to think of him. I only have Far Away Trains Passing By, and I like the instrumentation, but the beats are sometimes a little too wacky for my tastes. I guess that's because Boards of Canada got to me first.

Goth covers are a dime a dozen, but they're good occasionally. Plus to keep the show fresh, I sometimes have to play stuff that isn't completely amazing.

I don't know exactly what to think about the new Ulrich Schnauss. On one hand, I doubt there will be a better shoegaze album this year, but on the other all the songs kind of bleed together in a very ambient way. I really like it, but part of me wants the songs to be a little more distinct, because the ones that are, are excellent.

Too bad you guys don't do podcasts. I guess that would entail some sort of wranglin' with the RIAA? Anyway, I'm chained to my computer when I listen to stuff like that, which is fine for work, but I'm (hopefully) far from work when your shows are on. I found a decent app that records internet radio, and can even be set to record with a timer. Might look into that.

We are looking into doing Podcasts. Right now it's a matter of getting the equipment and teaching DJs how to do it themselves. It will be a big headache, but we will do it eventually, hopefully by next year.
